Role Overview

We are seeking a committed and knowledgeable DP Mathematics Teacher to teach Mathematics: Analysis & Approaches (AA) and/or Applications & Interpretation (AI). The ideal candidate will promote mathematical reasoning, abstract thinking, and problem-solving skills while connecting mathematical concepts to real-world contexts.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach DP Mathematics curriculum using inquiry-based strategies and real-world problem-solving.

• Design assessments that align with IB standards and evaluate higher-order thinking.

• Support students in developing mathematical investigations for IAs and EEs.

• Integrate technology (e.g., GeoGebra, Desmos, spreadsheets) in instruction and assessment.

• Encourage collaboration, independent thinking, and perseverance in mathematical learning.

• Participate in cross-curricular projects with other departments.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Mathematics or Engineering.

• 3–5 years of teaching experience; IB/IGCSE background preferred.

• Strong conceptual understanding and ability to differentiate instruction.

• Proficiency in digital tools and analytical reasoning.

Work Time

7:40 AM to 3:45 PM (Monday to Saturday)
